Happy Friday friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful week! I feel like this week went by so fast!

This is my first time EVER doing a #fittingroomdiaries ! I had so much fun doing it! I hope y'all enjoy it! Everything I'm sharing is currently on sale!

For looks 1-3 I am wearing these jeans, as well as this pair of black heels! I'm always hesitant with jeans from Old navy because I feel like they don't usually flatter my body. I've also been in search of some good light denim and y'all these are SO good! I saw them as soon as I walked in the store and I knew I had to try them on! I personally feel like they don't have too much of a stretch (like I normally like) but they're not too, I don't know, stiff?! There is just something about them that fit me like a glove! I would recommend sizing down with these.

I wasn't too fond of the button down shirt, it was a bit long for me (i'm 4"11), but the material was great! My favorite for sure is this grey tank & this pink peplum top!  They run true to size!

For looks 4-6, I am wearing these jeans! These are high rise and have a raw edge, which I love! I tried them on in a size 0 but I do feel like I could've gone down a size (which they don't carry)! My sizing as far as pants was a bit tricky, I don't know if I've lost some weight or maybe it was just the material lol I'm usually a size 2 but I mostly tried on 0 and they fit!

This top went home with me! It's a great Spring/Summer staple piece! It also comes in purple, I tried a small but it was too lose so I ended up sizing down. I might order this one online because I regret not buying it! haha It's so soft y'all! And fits so good, it could easily be paired with leggings, or even shorts!

MY WORKOUT ROUTINE 2019 + FITNESS JOURNEY UPDATE

Monday, February 4, 2019

| JANUARY 2018 |
| JANUARY 2019| - | FEBRUARY 2019 |

     | PRESENT (FEBRUARY) |

Happy Monday! Happy February! Happy LOVE month!

I know I'm not the only one that felt like January was the LONGEST month EVER!

I've been meaning to do this post for a few months now but I felt like I didn't have a consistent routine just yet as far as my workouts go. I've finally found one that works for me! I personally thinking having a good workout routine is KEY to staying on track and motivated. Routines in general play a major role in my everyday life. I'm not saying my days are planned out and I stick to them to a T BUT just knowing what my day is going to consistent of, keeps me on track!

MY WORKOUT ROUTINE

MONDAY: 10 MIN CARDIO + 30-45 MIN AB WORKOUT
TUESDAY: 10 MIN CARDIO + 30 MIN ARM WORKOUT
WEDNESDAY: 10 MIN CARDIO + 30-45 MIN AB
WORKOUT
THURSDAY: 10 MIN CARDIO + 30 MIN LOWER BODY WORKOUT
FRIDAY: 10 MIN CARDIO + 30-45 MIN AB WORKOUT

I will be changing my routine just bit, instead of 10 minutes of cardio before my workout I am going to try to increase that to 20 minutes. I love to run, and one of my goals for this year is to run a 5k! Fingers crossed I can accomplish it! I'am also going to try to run 3 miles twice a week. Usually Saturday and Sunday are my rest days, so I might take those two days and make them my "running" days.

FITNESS UPDATE

So now for a quick fitness update! The first photo you see was taken January 2018, I was maybe 2-3 weeks into my fitness journey. I honestly feel so good looking back at the picture and seeing how far I've come! I don't claim to be the fittest or healthiest of them all lol BUT I have come a long way from where I use to be!

The next set of photos you see, (Left) was taken January 2019. Clearly this was right after the holidays, my parents had just left, and of course I indulged in all the food my mama made me! I didn't workout in a little over a week, and like I said I wasn't eating healthy! But like to tell myself that  "vacation & holiday calories don't count" am I right? This was also the first day of my new workout guide I created! WHAAT! Yes I created my own little workout guide/plan! I only shared it with a few people just because I wasn't sure of the outcome.

The next photo (Right) was taken Friday (February 1st), a whole month following my workout guide! I can definitely see baby abs peeping through! Or maybe it's just me haha anyways, honestly I had set high expectations for myself! I told myself I was going to push myself hard on this guide and give it my all but I ended up getting lazy! I was just going through the motions. But you know what they say, January is a trial month! This month I'm going to be sticking to my routine but just trying new exercises. I'll be sharing clips of my full workouts over on my Instagram (@coffeewithrosa).

I was feeling discouraged because I didn't see the results I was expecting, but you get what you put in! Although I have come a long ways, I feel like I could be doing better, I feel like I could physically be better.  It's called a fitness journey for a reason. You're going to have highs and you're going to have lows!

I hope you made it to the end of this post! I didn't think it was going to be this long but I had a lot to say lol

Thank you so much for stopping by & for continuing to support my blog!
