HAPPY MONDAY!

Okay so this week is probably going to be the longest week ever because......my family is going to be coming down for Christmas!!!! How freaking exciting! Last time they visited was when my husband graduated the State Troopers academy! So it's been a while! Although I am extremely excited to see my parents, I'm MOST excited to see my nephew! My heart could burst from excitement!

With that being said, when we visit, my mom makes SO MUCH food for us! She makes tamales, mole, caldo de res, caldo de pescado, all sorts of yummy stuff! So I'm prepping for a whole week of cheat meals! haha We all know you can't turn down food in a Hispanic household!

For today's post I'm bringing y'all another what I Eat In A Day! You can check out the previous ones HERE  & HERE
One thing I am trying to cut back on is carbs! On this day, I knew I was going to have a carby lunch & dinner, so I made sure to have a simple breakfast! I'm also sharing a SUPER easy recipe! Take in mind I am not a cook whatsoever! I'm just sharing from experience, like always!

BREAKFAST:
*ACV: ABOUT 2 TSP DILUTED WITH SOME WATER
*EGG & CHEESE OMELETTE - I ADDED SOME SALSA!
*2 STRIPS TURKEY BACON

SNACK#1
*HONEY MANGO
*WATER

LUNCH
*WATER
*SPINACH WRAP (SOO YUMMY)
(RECIPE BELOW)

SNACK #2
I forgot to take a photo! I know I'm a terrible blogger! haha but I ate sliced apples with Tajin! One of my favorite snacks!

DINNER
*CHIPOTLE CHICKEN WITH WHITE RICE
(YOU CAN FIND RECIPE HERE)

HEALTHY SPINACH WRAP!

INGREDIENTS
*SPINACH WRAP TORTILLA
*COOKED & SHREDDED CHICKEN (I used a rotisserie chicken)
*TURKEY BREAST OR REGULAR DELI HAM
*SHREDDED CHEESE
*TURKEY BACON
*AVOCADO
*OPTIONAL-SALSA
*SHREDDED LETTUCE

Begin by cooking your turkey bacon. Once that is cooked, warm up your tortilla, I use a regular comal, tortillas don't taste the same if you use a microwave, but to each our own! Then add some avocado to the tortilla, I only used half of an avocado, add turkey breast on top, sprinkle some cheese (I used just a pinch. Finally add the shredded & cooked chicken, turkey bacon and salsa! Of course you can skip the salsa but it just adds soo much more flavor! Also I add lettuce, I completely forgot to take a picture but there's lettuce in there! lol

This wrap is super easy but soo yummy! And it makes a perfect lunch!

I hope y'all enjoy & thank you so much for stopping by! It means the world to me!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

It is a chilly day here in Texas! So Julian and I will be spending our day watching movies and drinking some coffee *I'm on my second cup but who's counting*. Hubby is still on light duty, and I'll tell you that it is driving him crazy! But I'll have to be selfish and tell you that it's been nice having him home and knowing he's safe! I'm a worry wort!

I started my blog in July, and I was consistent with my posts and connecting with you guys, but I have slacked off some! My BIGGEST New Year's resolution is to get back to it! I want to connect more with you guys and bring you some great content! Because of the support you give me, that includes, all the likes, comments, shares, views and messages I was able to work with Rue 21!

I started working with them during the Fall season and continued on into the Holiday season! And for that I am so grateful! I use to ALWAYS shop at Rue 21! It was my go-to place! It wasn't until this year that I started to shop for myself again! Being a mom, I would say I was shopping for myself but truthfully I always ended up buying things for Julian, the house, or just saving the money *because those $40 shoes, could be used for $40 worth of groceries*

But like I said this year I finally started buying things for myself! Y'all know I am a fashionista on a budget, so Rue 21 is the perfect place to shop! I have added links to the pieces I'm wearing, there were some things that they didn't have available anymore but I still wanted to share the photo with you!

I hope y'all enjoy this post AND again THANK YOU so much for continuing to support my blog! I wouldn't get these opportunities without y'all!

BEAUTY FAVORITES UNDER $10!

Happy Monday!

I had a very long to do list today so it is now almost 2 o' clock and I'm barely getting ready for the day! But laundry is almost done which is a HUGE accomplishment! Am I right?! Although I am a stay at home mom, I love to get ready for the day. Which includes putting on a cute but casual outfit and adding some makeup! This always makes me feel put together and motivated. It can be so easy to just to stay in my pjs all day & binge watch Netflix! But I try my best to stray from that! haha

I wanted to share my My Favorite Products Under $10! I am no expert in makeup & y'all should know that by now lol but I know the basics.

These products that I'm sharing are soo good! You can find them all at the drugstore! I love to stick to a good makeup routine because when you're running late, you already know what products you're going to use & you don't have to sit there and dwell on what makeup to use.

So here we go...

BEAUTY PRODUCTS I HAVE BEEN LOVING!

WET N WILD MATTE FACE PRIMER: If you have oily skin this primer is for you!! It is sooo good! I started using this towards the end of the Summer and it kept me from getting super greasy like I usually do. Now that it's cooler my skin gets a little dry so I use a VERY small amount of this primer. I definitely recommend this!

Maybelline Fit ME! Matte + Poreless: This foundation is hands down my favorite drugstore foundation! I am in between shades right now (322 & 330), one is a tad bit too light and the other is a tad bit too dark! So that's where we are in life haha! Anyway this is a light to medium coverage foundation, so it's perfect for that "everday look", it goes on the skin so smoothly, and they have SOO many shades! Go grab you one girl!

Makeup Revolution Banana Baking Powder: Makeup Revolution in general has some good makeup products. So this one is no exception! I apply this under my eyes after I apply concealer and let it bake for 1 minute, I then buff it all out and whatever is left I apply all over my face. It gives that PERFECT finish to my makeup!

Wet N Wild Highlighter "Crown of My Canopy": Okay ladies! If there's one thing you need to get your hands on is this highlighter! It is the bomb.com! & extremely affordable! If you're more of a tan complexion, this is going to look soo good on you! Trust me!

NYX Matte Bronzer "Deep Tan": I was never into bronzing, and honestly it's because I didn't know how to do it. So after watching quite a few Youtube videos I think I somewhat know what I'm doing! I've been using this bronzer for almost 3 months now & I love it! It's matte & it's the perfect color, I swatched a few at the drugstore but they looked kinda grey on me, so then I saw this baby & it was perfect.

Milani Stay Put Brow Color: I LOVE this brow pomade! I think this is my first time trying a eyebrow pomade, but it makes filling in my brows so much easier! And this brown doesn't have that reddish tint to it, which is awesome!

L'oreal Telescopic Mascara: I'm not cheating on my L'oreal Lash Paradise! BUT this is my second favorite! I will say this one dries pretty fast so that's the only down fall to it, but other than that it works wonders on my lashes!

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink "Amazonian" : This has been my go-to lip color for the past couple of months! It's long lasting and goes great with my skin color (at least I think so). If you haven't tried any of the Matte Ink lip colors, head to the drugstore and pick one up, you won't regret it!

Simple Micellar Cleansing Water: This is a great makeup remover! It's not harsh on your skin and it leaves it feeling moisturized! I heard the one from Garnier leaves your skin feeling kinda greasy, so I decided to try this one out and I love it!

Happy Friday friends!
I've been slacking here, on my blog, lately. I've been in that funk where I'm losing motivation in ALL the things, so I'm slowly finding ways to motivate myself. I have also been busy working on my NEW Workout Guide that I will be sending out in January! I already have a group of girls that will be doing it, and I'm so excited! Honestly, I haven't been this excited to create something in soooo long!

I'm putting a lot of effort into this guide to help you achieve your goals! I have mentioned it several times over on my Instagram, but I'm going to work super hard to achieve my goals next year, I want to work hard and be able to look and feel good #summerbodiesinprogress

With the New Year being only a few weeks away, I'll also be sharing some of my 2019 goals in next weeks blog post! One of the those goals is posting more What I Eat In A Day blog posts! I always get good feedback on those types of posts, and there's a few recipes that I would really love to share with y'all!

So with all that being said, today's blog posts is another What I Eat In A Day! I hope y'all enjoy & I promise to post more often! Thank you guys again so much for continuing to support my blog & this hobby of mine!

Outfit details SIMILAR SNEAKERS*SIMILAR SPORTS BRA +FAVORITE SPORTS BRASIMILAR SHORTS

BREAKFAST: I started back up on drinking my ACV! Which is the first thing I do in the mornings, then I, of course, make my cup of coffee! This has breakfast sandwich has been my go-to! It's so yummy! & if you haven't tried this salsa, you need to get your hands on it!

LUNCH: I made this super easy salad! I had some leftover chicken and I just added some cheese and a small amount of my favorite dressing! & a banana!

DINNER: Chicken Alfredo is my fave! This time around I did something different to cut back on some of these carbs, I boiled some broccoli, I left them pretty big and I added them to my plate first and then on top I added the pasta. I was so FULL and most of my plate was broccoli.

LATE NIGH "SNACK": I try my best to not eat anything after 6:30pm. Lately I've been ending my night with some Abuelita, which is basically hot chocolate. It's ALL about balance y'all!

I totally forgot to take pictures but I did drink a gallon of water this day, I try my best to do that 3 times a week!

I hope y'all enjoy this post, and thank you so much for taking the time to read! Have a fabulous weekend!
