10 MIN HIIT CARDIO WORKOUT

Monday, April 29, 2019

Happy Monday!

Let me just say that I cannot "hang" anymore y'all! We took a little roadtrip to Stephenville and we got back at about midnight. This morning I dropped Julian off and went right back to sleep! I was exhausted! I can't imagine how tired my husband is, since he did all the driving! haha

Okay so per my wonderful followers request it looks like Monday's are going to be my "fitness" post days! So make sure to come back on Monday's if you're in need of some fitness motivation!

I have been on a HIIT workout craze! I love how fast and effective it is! When I shared my fitness guide that I created a few months ago, I had a bunch of ladies ask me what exercises they could do for cardio, since I always do about 10 minutes of cardio before all my workouts. My favorite type of cardio is running, it helps clear my mind and definitely gets me pumped up for my workout. I know running is not for everyone that's why I put this cardio workout together!

If you are just starting your fitness journey or just want a quick workout this one is PERFECT! You can do it at the gym, at home, at the park, just about anywhere! So you kinda don't have ANY excuses! I hope y'all enjoy this workout and if you give it a try please let me know how you liked it!

Here we go....

We are going to do each exercise for 30 seconds, resting for 30 seconds in between, and then repeating the whole workout for a total of 2 rounds. Of course you can do more rounds if you'd like!

This is a perfect way to get your heart prepped for your workout of the day.

EXERCISE 1 123 HEISMAN-Okay so this exercise is pretty simple, you're basically going to "right dab" then do a little 3 step and do "left dab". Y'all know I'm not that great at explaining things so I hope that made sense!

EXERCISE 2 LATERAL UP & OVER JUMPS- I love this exercise! You're going to start in lateral position, right hand touching left foot, then do a little side jump, left hand touching right foot. Once you get the hang of it you can pick up the pace.

EXERCISE 3 LATERAL SKATERS- Easy peasy! Kinda the same concept as the previous exercise, except in skater position, and you're sliding instead of doing that little side jump.

EXCERISE 4 HIGH KNEES- I dislike these soooo much! I find them to be so dang hard! lol Maybe because I have little legs! haha These are definitely old school  , so I feel like I don't need to explain them. haha

EXERCISE 5 LAPS- Okay I love doing laps! Running in general, but you've only heard me say that, oh I don't know, a million times!! You can do these in your backyard, driveway, park, beach, gosh just about anywhere! It's only 30 seconds so it's not too much running.

I hope y'all enjoy this post! Again if you give this workout a go, let me know! Thank you so much for stopping by and for continuing to support my blog! It means the world to me!

FITTING ROOM DIARIES: TARGET (EVERYTHING UNDER $25)

Friday, April 26, 2019

Happy Friday friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful week! I didn't publish a post on Monday because we ended up taking a spontaneous trip to the zoo and we FINALLY tried In & Out! And guess what? We hated it! haha I had really high expectations and I was let down. I was thinking it would be similar to Five Guys (which we love) and not even close! Have you tried In & Out? Did you like it?

Okay so I decided to take a quick trip to Target and found some great pieces! Everything is under $25 y'all! Such a dang steal!

Y'all loved these  shorts, and I found another pair that is just as good too! I tried this pair on and y'all! They fit like a glove! I tried on a size 0 and I definitely need to size down one, I do think they are true to size. I'm just going through a struggle right now with my body because things are fitting lose around my waist but fit perfectly everywhere else.

Also this denim skirt is SO GOOD! I've tried on so many denim skirts because they are such a trend right now but I feel like they don't really flatter me. They always seem too wide towards the end. But this one fits just right! And only $15!

This tank dress ($12) is perfect for this Texas weather! I paired it with this cardigan. I also think if you have a bump this would look soo cute on you! I tried a size medium because that's all they had in store but definitely too big on me. This combo would look so cute with some cognac sandals or espadrilles!

Thank you so much for stopping by and for continuing to support my blog! It means the world to me. Also if you shop through my links, thank you! I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!

15 MINUTE AB WORKOUT

Monday, April 15, 2019

Happy Monday friends!

Today has been a wonderful & productive day. I started the morning off with a 2 mile run and an ab workout! I'm really working hard towards running 5 miles but that'll be a story for another day. I love a good run, it pumps me up for a good workout after! Anyone else?

The next couple of months I'm going to be focusing on my upper body, I feel like I have neglected my abs & arms, back, all of it! So I'm focusing a little more on those parts of my body. I have recently started tracking how many calories I intake and also TRYING and LEARNING to count my macros. Once I have more knowledge on all that and more experience I will be sharing more of that with y'all!

Monday's are always my AB DAYS, I always incorporate cardio to all my workouts. I love cardio but if you're not a cardio type of person, of course you don't have to. All this exercises are pretty self explanatory, but I will go over them very quickly. I normally do these for 45 seconds each but today I had other things to check off my to-do list so I cut it short to 30 seconds, adjust to whatever you need.

Okay.....

EXERCISE 1 & 2: Tuck in crunch-Take opposite arm with opposite leg and bring it in to a tight squeeze, holding during the crunch for a couple of seconds.

EXERCISE 3: Leg pull up or butt ups-Exactly how the name says, your going to pull your butt up of the floor and squeeze those abs, coming down slowly. If you have lower back issues you might want to skip out on this one, or just work with it slowly and carefully.

EXERCISE 4: Straight back sit up-Again how the name says, start of as a regular sit up, legs spread just a bit and come up with a straight back, this exercise is so good because you're using your core to come up!

EXERCISE 5: Leg raises- Okay so it's not secret I LOVE leg raises. They have helped me out a ton with this lower tummy! This is a basic exercise, lay on your back and bring your feet up just enough to feel that crunch. You can make it more intense and slightly hold your head, chin forward, up off the floor.

[OUTFIT DETAILS] WALMART EYELET BLOUSE  | AMERICAN EAGLE JEANS (SOLD OUT) OTHER OPTIONS HERE & HERE  | TARGET NUDE WEDGES (SOLD OUT) OTHER OPTIONS HERE, HERE & HERE   | WALMART TOTE  | EARRINGS (ROCKSBOX)

Happy Monday friends!

We spent the day running errands and now we are sitting our butts on the couch watching 911! One of our favorite shows so far! We also love the Rookie and God friended me! What are you currently loving?

Okay so we don't usually do much for Easter, besides maybe go to church. So I wanted to put together a casual but festive outfit. Depending on how hot it is I will be wearing this outfit, but if it's somewhere near the 90's, nope! I'll switch this out for a dress!

I picked this cute eyelet top from Walmart when we were in San Antonio. I thought the color was perfect to wear for Easter! And the detail on the sleeves is really what sold me! Isn't so dang gorgeous! I love a good eyelet detail. This is from the Time & Tru collection, runs a little big, I'm wearing a small. I wish they carried extra small, but they don't!

Y'all know I LOVE a good white denim! Mine are currently sold out but I did link other options as well! I've said it a million times before but all the jeans from the AE Next Level are soo GOOD! They fit like a glove!

My nude strappy wedges are from Target but they are super old! Also linked other options that are so dang cute! I have really been eyeing this pair!

As for my jewelry, my flower studs are from ROCKSBOX  , you can still use my code "coffeewithrosaxoxo" to get your first month free! Make sure you take advantage! They are adding some new Kendra Scott pieces! You can always cancel at anytime, no strings attached!

I hope you enjoyed this fashion post! Thank you so much for stopping by and for taking the time to read my blog! And of course for continuing to support my blog!

CURRENT MAKEUP FAVORITES-APRIL

Friday, April 5, 2019

Happy Friday friends!

Let me tell y'all these allergies are killing me! It's bad y'all! I can go maybe 5 minutes without sneezing! And when I do sneeze I go crazy! If you didn't know I'm one of "those" people that sneeze back to back to back! haha My skin is also acting crazy! Through time, I've gone from having oily skin to combination skin, to now dry skin! I'm thinking the weather has a lot to do with it! So I'm trying out all sorts of moisturizers!

Okay, so in the last few months I've been trying out some beauty products and have found some good ones! I really wanted to share these with y'all because, when it comes to makeup I just do the basics ya know? I wish I was the creative type when it comes to makeup but I wasn't blessed in that category. And I know a lot of my follower friends are the same! You can also check out my last beauty post here

1) MAKEUP REVOLUTION BLUSH/HIGHLIGHTER PALETTE - I found this palette on the ulta website, if you click on the bold parts of this post, it'll take you to the exact product. This palette is super affordable! The blushes are so pigmented and they color pay off is great! As far as the highlighters go, the only one that fits my skin tone is the gold-yellowish color! The other shades look a bit ashy on my skin tone.

2) NYX MATTE BRONZER -  I have bragged about this  bronzer many times already but I just honestly love it so much! It wasn't until I bought this bronzer that I actually started to bronze my face. I have swatched others and they come off a little greyish and this one is just the perfect shade, it's more on the orange side but definitely nothing crazy, in my opinion is the PERFECT shade!

3) MORPHE BRONZED PALETTE  - This is my first time purchasing anything from this brand, but when I saw Casey Holmes using this palette I had to have it. It has ALL the perfect neutral colors! I have used it a gazillion times already and I purchased it like 2-3 weeks ago! I will say that they shimmer or foiled colors are a tad bit hard to blend, I've tried wetting my brush and using my finger but it's still a little difficult for me. Do take in mind that, again, I am not great at eyeshadow so I could totally be doing something wrong. I'll keep you guys updated on this.

4) TARTE LIGHTS, CAMERA, LASHES MASCARA  - So this gem actually came as a free gift when I purchased the Morphe palette. And y'all....IT IS AMAZING!  I started using it last week sometime because my all time favorite (l'oreal telescopic) ran out so I tried this and dang it I fell in love! It's definitely a little pricier ($23) and I'll be honest I don't know if I'd purchase the bigger tube  so I'm going to make this baby last! I'm more a drugstore type of gal, but you know what they say, you do crazy things when you're in love!

5) MAKEUP REVOLUTION BANANA POWDER  - I have a love and hate relationship with this product right now. Like I said, my skin has been super dry this week so of course that affects how your makeup applies. I've been using it just for my under eye (where I apply my concealer) I let it sit for maybe 2 minutes and then I brush it off, and it just makes my under eye so bright! I have used it all over my face and works great too! BUT with how my skin is right now, it just clings to my dry areas! Especially under my eyes because I'm constantly rubbing them (hello allergies) and you know the rest, so I'm staying away from it until I get my skin under control.

6) E.L.F BEAUTY SPONGE - If there is one thing that I highly suggest you try is this sponge! I've never tried the original beauty blender, I use to use the Real Techniques Beauty Sponge, which works amazing, but again I saw Casey Holmes bragging about this so I purchased! haha and WOWZA is this beauty sponge good! It works great either damp or dry! It's a little squishier (i'm great with description) than the real techniques. And for the price ($4) it's great y'all I promise! Try it!

7) MAYBELLINE FIT ME LOOSE POWDER - Another product that I have previously talked about! I love this powder! I apply it all over my face to set everything and it just leaves my makeup looking flawless! This is such an oldie but a goodie!

I hope you enjoyed this post! And if you try any of these products let me know how you like them! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for continuing to support me!

SIMPLE AB WORKOUT

Monday, April 1, 2019

Happy Monday!

Wow! It feels like FOREVER since I've done a fitness post! First of all, my motivation hasn't been all there. I started the year of okay, but I wasn't committed to my fitness goals. Moving on to February I was like "okay, I need to be as committed as I was last year", and so I started of fine and then BOOM, life happened. We ended up being in San Antonio, what felt like majority of the month. I wasn't eating healthy at all, and eventually I just quit working out. Then March came along, it took a couple of weeks to get back into our routine, and then another BOOM! I hurt my right foot and it's still not a 100% okay. But FINALLY last week was my first FULL week of finally getting a workout in every day!!!

One thing I was noticing with my workout routine was that I started to get bored. Which is normal. I was also feeling like I could do more, so this week the plan is to incorporate a full run (2-3 miles) with my workout at least 3 times a week.

Since my foot isn't feeling it's best yet, I kept it pretty light and simple for my workout. Above I'm sharing the ab workout that I have been doing. I feel like I'm not putting too much pressure on my foot with these exercises. I noticed since I haven't been on my A game, that I have lost some definition in my core, so that's what I've been focusing on the most. Feel free to do this workout and let me know how you like it!

Thank you so much for stopping by and for continuing to support my blog. It means the absolute world to me!
