MOTHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS

Tuesday, April 28, 2020

Happy Tuesday friends!

I quickly wanted to share some great gift ideas for Mother's Day!

- MEMORY FOAM SNEAKERS ($20): If you or your mom work long hours and are always on your feet, these sneakers are not only so cute but so comfortable!

- HANDWRITING BRACELET ($42): I love love how unique this bracelet is! You can have your little one write their name and then upload the picture and it will be printed on this bracelet!

-MONOGRAMMED HANDBAG ($50): I bought this for myself, and I loved it! It's super spacious so could also be used as a diaper bag!

-PERSONALIZED APRON ($21): My mom LOVES to wear aprons, especially when she makes tamales so this is PERFECT for her! There's a space where you can type what you want the apron to say, so if your mom or grandma doesn't speak English you can write something in Spanish, which I think makes this even more special!

-YETI RAMBLER/MUG ($24)- If you know of a new mom or soon to be mom GET THEM THIS! I think we can all agree it would be nice to drink hot coffee lol and as a mom it's not always like that!

-PHOTO CUP ($10): You literally cannot go wrong with this gift!

-PERSONALIZED SMALL COOLER ($35): My mom works long hours and she always packs her lunch, I love the size of this one and how spacious it is!

SNAKE PRINT KIMONO OOTD + WHAT'S NEXT AFTER QUARANTINE?

Wednesday, April 22, 2020

OUTFIT DETAILS [ Snake print kimono *available here*, Ribbed bodysuit (sold out) other options *available here* & *here*, High rise jeans *available here*, Similar nude heels *available here*]

Happy Wednesday friends!

I have been dying to share this outfit with you guys! I feel like I say that every time I publish an outfit post lol But seriously this one is good!

This is definitely going to be the outfit I wear on our first post quarantine outing! Because we all have our outfits ready right? ha

This kimono (available here) is so dang good & under $15! Insane, you can use the link I provided to see if it's in stock at Walmart near you. I know most of us aren't going out only for essentials so I'm also linking a similar one HERE & HERE. Also linking two other options for this ribbed bodysuit. Mine is sold out but these two have amazing reviews are, of course, affordable.

I've mentioned these jeans (available here) before but I got them when I was in NC and love love them. They are super high rise so mom friendly. I should have sized down one because they sit right at my waist. But aside from that, they are phenomenal and flattering!

Seriously so obsessed with this outfit! I hope you guys enjoy it!

Okay so as bad as this may sound I try to stay away from watching the news because it is just so dang depressing! But I think some states are talking about reopening soon, and I have mixed emotions about this, which we are not going to get into. But I did want to share my thoughts on one thing. What's next after quarantine? I can only speak for myself but before all this happened, my life was a hot mess, I was a hot mess. I felt like this time that I've been at home, I had time to think about what I wanted in my life, and for my son. I realized there is so so much that I want to do still. With all the uncertainty that surrounds us, I kept thinking what if "it was my time to go", "what if I get the virus & I don't make it?". I know those thoughts are dark but it was what I was thinking. I kept thinking if you die bc of this virus, would you die happy? Would you be okay knowing that you didn't live your life like you wanted? Would you be at ease knowing you didn't do all the things you wanted to do? All the places you wanted to travel but didn't?

I mean just so many thoughts were going through my head. And I realized, that WOW, I have not "lived". I have things on my bucket list, that have been sitting there for years and I haven't made the EFFORT to cross any of them off. I've just settled.

So I can really say this quarantine did me good, it did my mind & soul good. Don't get me wrong I was going a little crazy there for a minute but overall, just slowing down in life and realizing what I want in life has turned the "switch" for me! It's a beautiful thing really! So to answer the question...what's next after quarantine? I hope and pray that this world is a much better place. I hope and pray that I accomplish all the things that I set my mind to. I hope and pray that I am able to travel with the people I love. I will no longer take the "little things" for granted, ever. I will enjoy every second with my family. I will try my best to never complain about a packed restaurant, or a long line at the store. I will never take for granted a Sunday at church, and finally I will remember to pray to God even when things are good, not only when they're bad.

What would you take away from this quarantine?

AT HOME FULL BODY WORKOUT

Monday, April 20, 2020

Happy Monday friends!

How was your weekend? Ours was pretty chill, like it has been for the past couple of months lol

Today is usually my "get all the blogging things" done day lol so that's what we're up to today.

I haven't shared a workout post with y'all in a few months so it was time to do that.

As you can tell by the title this is a at home workout, if you don't have dumbbells feel free to use water bottles, your kid, your cat, just about anything you can find. Or you don't have to use any weight at all.

Okay sooo...

Usually my workout format is do 5 exercises and repeat the whole workout 3 times. I've changed things up a bit this time around and we have a total of 10 exercises, do each one for 30 seconds, rest for 10 seconds and move on to the next exercise. You will repeat the workout 3 times. And if you ain't sweating by the time you're done than I'll have to up my game for next time lol

Okay so by the end you should feel a little something like this! lol

I hope you guys enjoy and if you give this workout a go, let me know you like it! Thank you so much for supporting my blog!

Happy Thursday friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful day! Meant to publish this blog post yesterday but I was out doing our weekly grocery trip! I finally found toilet paper so that was great! haha They also removed the limit on how much water you can buy so I'm hoping that's a sign that things are slowly getting better.

I have been dying to share this  gorgeous top with you guys! It's from one of my favorites, Threads Boutique! I made a trip last month and they are currently having 30% off + free shipping! You can use code "Rosa30" at checkout! I snagged a few other pieces that I'll be sharing next week.

I'm wearing a small in this top and I love how soft and loose fitting it is! It would also pair so good with leggings. And no worries, it's long enough to cover your booty girl! And can we talk about the ruffle sleeves...I'm a sucker for ruffles!

I paired it with these American Eagle jeans that I've had for a few years now, they're not longer available but I'm linking a similar pair (available here). These espadrilles are also from Threads but sold out , I was able to find them here, I'm wearing my true size, 6.

And that is a wrap for today's post, if there is any item that you see here or any questions, please feel free to message me! Or leave me a comment, I love chatting you guys!

I hope you all have a wonderful day, and THANK YOU so much for continuing to support me!

WHAT'S IN MY AMAZON CART

Monday, April 13, 2020

Happy Monday friends!

Easter was a little different this year but nonetheless it was great!

Julian and I are currently watching Onward for the hundredth time! ha Have you watched it? It is such a sweet movie! And of course Julian now thinks he's a wizard!

I have all these things currently sitting in my Amazon cart, so I thought I would share, I haven't done these types of posts in a while.

I went ahead and ordered these shower headbands (available here) ! I was in such need of these, especially now that I'm only washing my hair twice a week. Also planning to use them when I do my makeup. I ALWAYS get makeup all over my hair.

This fan (available here) is a must for me! I've seen a lot of bloggers use it to help set their makeup, but I'm using it as the real deal lol Y'all know I sweat so bad so I will need this for summer!

Also wanted to mention these ear buds (available here), if you have these let me know how you like them! The reviews are great and I really don't see myself biting the bullet and ordering the air pods! I lose things so easily and wouldn't trust myself with them! These amazon ear buds are under $30!

Also sharing other items that I'll be purchasing!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and find something you like! As always thank you so much for stopping by and for supporting my blog!

See you Wednesday!

SPRING OUTFIT + THE MOST FLATTERING MOM JEANS!

Wednesday, April 8, 2020

Happy Wednesday friends!

I took a bit of time off once this whole COVID thing happened because it was just idk such a weird time and still is.

But what a better way to come back than to share a super affordable outfit featuring the most flattering jeans EVER!

I linking a similar tee (available here) ! Mine is unfortunately sold out! Both tees are only $10. The one I'm wearing has a ribbed detail that I love! I'm wearing a small.

Now onto the star of the show...these jeans y'all (available here)! Snag them up now! Totally kidding, but really they are so great! I don't think I've ever tried a "mom jean" that I love, or that's flattering on me. A bunch of times I feel like my bottom just looks a bit saggy, and I personally don't like that look lol

I'm wearing a size 0 in these so I'd recommend sizing down one or stay true to your size. I'm typically a size 1. I did try the 00 and it fit but I didn't have room to eat a slice of pizza lol

Also they are somewhat petite friendly, I'm 4'11 and I only have to roll them up once which if you're short you know that's a win! ha The best part is they're only $22! Tempted to snag up another pair just to have as a back up!

Before I end this post...how are you guys doing? How are you holding up?

I'm use to being home all the time but there's something about being told to stay home ya know lol I miss taking trips to Starbucks and roaming the aisles of Target. I miss taking my son to the park and then Mcdonald's. I miss Sunday's at church. You don't realize how much those "little things" really mean to you.

If there's one thing I've learned from this whole situation is I won't ever take the "little things" for granted EVER AGAIN!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post & thank you so much for sticking by me!

Talk to you soon!
