Happy Friday friends!

We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

It has been crazy here in Texas, in case you haven't heard. I honestly can't believe how bad things got around here. So many people were without power this entire time, and I just can't imagine how they were feeling. 

We were fortunate enough to have power the whole time. We ended up losing water 2 days ago. And we have a busted  pipe. But overall I think we made it out of this okay. 

So many people didn't. I've read 2 stories in which people died trying to stay warm. I don't think any of us were prepared for this. 

With COVID in 2020 and this Winter storm, I feel like it has taught us so much. 

I'll be the first to admit, looking back I do feel like I have taken so much for granted. 

It's crazy that all these events had to happen for me to realize how much I have to be thankful for. I guess life is like that sometimes.

So if you're reading this, I pray that you never take anything for granted again. A warm shower, a warm house, a hot meal, or hugging your family. 

To my friends in Texas, I am praying for us all. We are one day closer to being done with this. And we have 60 degree weather to look forward.

Happy Wednesday friends!!

How has life been for you? 2021 started off a little better than 2020 but I think we're all a little on edge with this "new normal". 

I have been trying my best to improve my blog and the content I put out. I know a lot of people don't really read blogs anymore, but honestly I can't give up my blog nor do I plan too. There's just something about this little space of mine that draws me in. I love sharing life with you! So with that said, please leave me a comment with what blog content you would like to see. 

So clearly I am a bit obsessed with Walmart! They have just been really stepping up their game y'all! I found the most basic pieces that I know you will get a ton of use out of! 

This chambray top will be perfect for Spring and Summer! And only $15! Doesn't get much better than that! 

I may loose some of y'all on this, but I am not a huge fan of the tye dye trend! I just feel like I can't pull it off! BUT I can go for a subtle tye dye! This top is perfect because again its not too colorful!

When I tried this pullover on I felt like I needed to be taking a long night walk by the beach! I mean if you've ever done it you know how it's just so peaceful and something about it relaxes you instantly! 

And finally this simple top! I always size up in the No Boundaries collection! It's intended for "juniors" but I just size up! lol This top comes in a few other colors and is lightweight so great transitional piece!
