CHIC & CLASSIC SPRING OUTFIT

Wednesday, May 27, 2020

Happy Wednesday friends!

It's been a slow day today and I am grateful!

Incase you missed it! This mama has a new job! Feeling so thankful and feels great to be able to help out!

So I'm on my lunch break and have to make this quick lol But I wanted to share this outfit with y'all because it's such a classic spring look and everything is, of course, affordable!

I love love how chic this top (available here) is! Back in the day I use to be obsessed with peplum and I'm right back at it lol It would also be so gorgeous pair with some denim or white shorts!

Okay so these jeans (available here) are so flattering! I was out taking these photos and ripped a small little hole in mine, but nothing that can't be fixed! I was in a rush and just yanked them on so yeah...oops lol Anyway they're from the Sofia Vergara collection from Walmart! This is my first pair from here and definitely won't be the last!

I hope you guys have a wonderful day!

MOTHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS

Tuesday, April 28, 2020

Happy Tuesday friends!

I quickly wanted to share some great gift ideas for Mother's Day!

- MEMORY FOAM SNEAKERS ($20): If you or your mom work long hours and are always on your feet, these sneakers are not only so cute but so comfortable!

- HANDWRITING BRACELET ($42): I love love how unique this bracelet is! You can have your little one write their name and then upload the picture and it will be printed on this bracelet!

-MONOGRAMMED HANDBAG ($50): I bought this for myself, and I loved it! It's super spacious so could also be used as a diaper bag!

-PERSONALIZED APRON ($21): My mom LOVES to wear aprons, especially when she makes tamales so this is PERFECT for her! There's a space where you can type what you want the apron to say, so if your mom or grandma doesn't speak English you can write something in Spanish, which I think makes this even more special!

-YETI RAMBLER/MUG ($24)- If you know of a new mom or soon to be mom GET THEM THIS! I think we can all agree it would be nice to drink hot coffee lol and as a mom it's not always like that!

-PHOTO CUP ($10): You literally cannot go wrong with this gift!

-PERSONALIZED SMALL COOLER ($35): My mom works long hours and she always packs her lunch, I love the size of this one and how spacious it is!

SNAKE PRINT KIMONO OOTD + WHAT'S NEXT AFTER QUARANTINE?

Wednesday, April 22, 2020

OUTFIT DETAILS [ Snake print kimono *available here*, Ribbed bodysuit (sold out) other options *available here* & *here*, High rise jeans *available here*, Similar nude heels *available here*]

Happy Wednesday friends!

I have been dying to share this outfit with you guys! I feel like I say that every time I publish an outfit post lol But seriously this one is good!

This is definitely going to be the outfit I wear on our first post quarantine outing! Because we all have our outfits ready right? ha

This kimono (available here) is so dang good & under $15! Insane, you can use the link I provided to see if it's in stock at Walmart near you. I know most of us aren't going out only for essentials so I'm also linking a similar one HERE & HERE. Also linking two other options for this ribbed bodysuit. Mine is sold out but these two have amazing reviews are, of course, affordable.

I've mentioned these jeans (available here) before but I got them when I was in NC and love love them. They are super high rise so mom friendly. I should have sized down one because they sit right at my waist. But aside from that, they are phenomenal and flattering!

Seriously so obsessed with this outfit! I hope you guys enjoy it!

Okay so as bad as this may sound I try to stay away from watching the news because it is just so dang depressing! But I think some states are talking about reopening soon, and I have mixed emotions about this, which we are not going to get into. But I did want to share my thoughts on one thing. What's next after quarantine? I can only speak for myself but before all this happened, my life was a hot mess, I was a hot mess. I felt like this time that I've been at home, I had time to think about what I wanted in my life, and for my son. I realized there is so so much that I want to do still. With all the uncertainty that surrounds us, I kept thinking what if "it was my time to go", "what if I get the virus & I don't make it?". I know those thoughts are dark but it was what I was thinking. I kept thinking if you die bc of this virus, would you die happy? Would you be okay knowing that you didn't live your life like you wanted? Would you be at ease knowing you didn't do all the things you wanted to do? All the places you wanted to travel but didn't?

I mean just so many thoughts were going through my head. And I realized, that WOW, I have not "lived". I have things on my bucket list, that have been sitting there for years and I haven't made the EFFORT to cross any of them off. I've just settled.

So I can really say this quarantine did me good, it did my mind & soul good. Don't get me wrong I was going a little crazy there for a minute but overall, just slowing down in life and realizing what I want in life has turned the "switch" for me! It's a beautiful thing really! So to answer the question...what's next after quarantine? I hope and pray that this world is a much better place. I hope and pray that I accomplish all the things that I set my mind to. I hope and pray that I am able to travel with the people I love. I will no longer take the "little things" for granted, ever. I will enjoy every second with my family. I will try my best to never complain about a packed restaurant, or a long line at the store. I will never take for granted a Sunday at church, and finally I will remember to pray to God even when things are good, not only when they're bad.

What would you take away from this quarantine?

AT HOME FULL BODY WORKOUT

Monday, April 20, 2020

Happy Monday friends!

How was your weekend? Ours was pretty chill, like it has been for the past couple of months lol

Today is usually my "get all the blogging things" done day lol so that's what we're up to today.

I haven't shared a workout post with y'all in a few months so it was time to do that.

As you can tell by the title this is a at home workout, if you don't have dumbbells feel free to use water bottles, your kid, your cat, just about anything you can find. Or you don't have to use any weight at all.

Okay sooo...

Usually my workout format is do 5 exercises and repeat the whole workout 3 times. I've changed things up a bit this time around and we have a total of 10 exercises, do each one for 30 seconds, rest for 10 seconds and move on to the next exercise. You will repeat the workout 3 times. And if you ain't sweating by the time you're done than I'll have to up my game for next time lol

Okay so by the end you should feel a little something like this! lol

I hope you guys enjoy and if you give this workout a go, let me know you like it! Thank you so much for supporting my blog!

Happy Thursday friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful day! Meant to publish this blog post yesterday but I was out doing our weekly grocery trip! I finally found toilet paper so that was great! haha They also removed the limit on how much water you can buy so I'm hoping that's a sign that things are slowly getting better.

I have been dying to share this  gorgeous top with you guys! It's from one of my favorites, Threads Boutique! I made a trip last month and they are currently having 30% off + free shipping! You can use code "Rosa30" at checkout! I snagged a few other pieces that I'll be sharing next week.

I'm wearing a small in this top and I love how soft and loose fitting it is! It would also pair so good with leggings. And no worries, it's long enough to cover your booty girl! And can we talk about the ruffle sleeves...I'm a sucker for ruffles!

I paired it with these American Eagle jeans that I've had for a few years now, they're not longer available but I'm linking a similar pair (available here). These espadrilles are also from Threads but sold out , I was able to find them here, I'm wearing my true size, 6.

And that is a wrap for today's post, if there is any item that you see here or any questions, please feel free to message me! Or leave me a comment, I love chatting you guys!

I hope you all have a wonderful day, and THANK YOU so much for continuing to support me!

WHAT'S IN MY AMAZON CART

Monday, April 13, 2020

Happy Monday friends!

Easter was a little different this year but nonetheless it was great!

Julian and I are currently watching Onward for the hundredth time! ha Have you watched it? It is such a sweet movie! And of course Julian now thinks he's a wizard!

I have all these things currently sitting in my Amazon cart, so I thought I would share, I haven't done these types of posts in a while.

I went ahead and ordered these shower headbands (available here) ! I was in such need of these, especially now that I'm only washing my hair twice a week. Also planning to use them when I do my makeup. I ALWAYS get makeup all over my hair.

This fan (available here) is a must for me! I've seen a lot of bloggers use it to help set their makeup, but I'm using it as the real deal lol Y'all know I sweat so bad so I will need this for summer!

Also wanted to mention these ear buds (available here), if you have these let me know how you like them! The reviews are great and I really don't see myself biting the bullet and ordering the air pods! I lose things so easily and wouldn't trust myself with them! These amazon ear buds are under $30!

Also sharing other items that I'll be purchasing!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and find something you like! As always thank you so much for stopping by and for supporting my blog!

See you Wednesday!

SPRING OUTFIT + THE MOST FLATTERING MOM JEANS!

Wednesday, April 8, 2020

Happy Wednesday friends!

I took a bit of time off once this whole COVID thing happened because it was just idk such a weird time and still is.

But what a better way to come back than to share a super affordable outfit featuring the most flattering jeans EVER!

I linking a similar tee (available here) ! Mine is unfortunately sold out! Both tees are only $10. The one I'm wearing has a ribbed detail that I love! I'm wearing a small.

Now onto the star of the show...these jeans y'all (available here)! Snag them up now! Totally kidding, but really they are so great! I don't think I've ever tried a "mom jean" that I love, or that's flattering on me. A bunch of times I feel like my bottom just looks a bit saggy, and I personally don't like that look lol

I'm wearing a size 0 in these so I'd recommend sizing down one or stay true to your size. I'm typically a size 1. I did try the 00 and it fit but I didn't have room to eat a slice of pizza lol

Also they are somewhat petite friendly, I'm 4'11 and I only have to roll them up once which if you're short you know that's a win! ha The best part is they're only $22! Tempted to snag up another pair just to have as a back up!

Before I end this post...how are you guys doing? How are you holding up?

I'm use to being home all the time but there's something about being told to stay home ya know lol I miss taking trips to Starbucks and roaming the aisles of Target. I miss taking my son to the park and then Mcdonald's. I miss Sunday's at church. You don't realize how much those "little things" really mean to you.

If there's one thing I've learned from this whole situation is I won't ever take the "little things" for granted EVER AGAIN!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post & thank you so much for sticking by me!

Talk to you soon!

TARGET TRY ON (SPRING FINDS UNDER $30)

Monday, March 9, 2020

OUTFIT DETAILS: MULTICOLORED JUMPSUIT (XS)

Happy Monday friends!

I have been on the struggle but the past 2 days! I absolutely love this time change but it's taking me a bit to get use too! On the bright side my kid has been sleeping in! Yesterday he woke up at ten!! And so far it's nine and he is still asleep!

This is a big deal! If you know my child, you know he is such an early bird!

I took a quick trip to Target the other day and found some cute Spring pieces! I love everything and anything floral for spring and of course bright!

Okay so lets start with this cute multicolored jumpsuit (available here) I am wearing an XS and fits perfectly! I always have trouble with jumpsuits because I am so tiny lol but this one is a good one! It doesn't have much of a stretch but I can tell that it gets loose throughout the day, if that makes sense.

I loved this wrap dress (available here) ! Usually with the "Xhilaration" collection I always have to do a XS. The only thing with this dress is that at breast area it just droops on me. I wasn't gifted when it comes to the "girls" so if you've been blessed with some lol than this dress would look phenomenal on you!

I love a good basic dress! This lavender one is only $12 (available here)! Insane I know! I'm wearing a SM. It's not to tight on the body but not loose, I love the length, and can we talk about the color!

Another jumpsuit that is on my wishlist! (available here) I'm wearing an XS on this one and y'all this is one is perfect! I love the fabric, the fit, it has pockets and it's lightweight! I mean it's perfect!

I wasn't too fond of this dress, it's gorgeous but I feel like it's not flattering on me at all (available here)! Still a cute dress!

Wednesday, February 26, 2020

OUTFIT DETAILS: GRAPHIC TEE (SM)

OUTFIT DETAILS: POW-HER-FUL TEE (SM)

OUTFIT DETAILS: ONE PIECE SWIMSUIT (SM)

Happy Wednesday friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful day!

I made a quick trip to Walmart today and wanted to share some cute tees that I found! I don't know about anyone else but I love me some tees! So comfy and can style them so many different ways!

Before we get into that though I wanted to mention that they had a huge clearance section for kids winter clothing! I bought Julian a cute sherpa pullover about 3 months ago for $10 and it was on sale for $3! Perfect time to stock up!

Okay so all these tees were only $9! I have provided links for them under the image, where it has "outfit details".

These (available here) bermuda shorts are so good! Under $15! They come in a few other washes, if your kid plays sports during the Spring or Summer, these would be so cute! Paired with a tee or even a cute tank! I love that they have great coverage, of course, but aren't too, idk boring lol

Y'all!!! When I saw these slippers I literally squealed!!!! They are only $10! I mean they were calling my name for sure! (available here

Lastly this swimsuit! I'm wearing a small and only $20 (available here)! It is so flattering and perfect for all my mamas out there, or if you like more booty coverage! Because let me tell ya, swimsuits now a days provide little to no coverage! lol Definitely snagging this up!

I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post!

FITNESS UPDATE + ALIVE BY WHITNEY SIMMONS REVIEW

Monday, February 24, 2020

Happy Monday friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful day!

So we are just going to go ahead and jump right into this post!

It has been a hot minute since I've updated you guys on where I am in my fitness journey.

So as of now, I am seeing HUGE progress in my body! I've been using the Alive app by Whitney Simmons, and I absolutely LOVE IT! Easiest and most efficient app I've tried!

Right now I'm currently doing the Alive 1.0 8 week program and within a week I started to notice definition in my arms. Which has been one of the hardest parts to tone up besides my stomach area.

The app has 30 workouts targeting different parts of the body! And currently 2 programs. One of the best features of this app is that it has a timer! Trust me y'all! Timers are so so important in a workout app and girlfriend nailed it!

Besides the timer, another great feature is that you can preview the workout so you can be prepared and she shows you exactly how to do it!

If you don't watch Whitney on youtube, head to her channel and binge watch her videos. She is one of the main reasons I've been able to stay motivated!

Totally forgot to mention, the app is $15 a month and worth every penny!

-
-

I have not weighed myself, and if you've been following me for a while you know I don't really pay attention to the scale. In the last couple of weeks I FINALLY starting to see some definition in my stomach area! If you're a mom you know how hard it is to tone it back up!

As for my eating, phew! It is one of the hardest part of this journey! BUT I have been doing so so much better! I think I'm finally in a good place when it comes to my relationship with food. I use to be scared to eat too much because I didn't want to feel full and overall just had an unhealthy relationship. But we're in a better place now!

I plan on doing a what I eat in a day over on my IG TV so if you don't follow me on Instagram (coffeewithrosa) be sure to head over there.

Also forgot to mention lol I do a full body workout every day! For a warm up I do either a 5 min 12% incline walk or just do a 20 min run depends on how I am with time.

I'm also going to the gym. I have been working out at home for the past two years and I just needed to change it up a bit. I can't express to you how much it has helped me! I love going to the gym and just taking that time to focus on myself.

I hope y'all enjoyed this post and thank you guy so much for continuing to support me!

OUTFIT 2: BLACK BLAZER (SM)

OUTFIT 3: LEOPARD TOP (SM)

OUTFIT 4: BLUE TOP (XS)

OUTFIT 5: LEOPARD DRESS (XS)

OUTFIT 6: CORAL DRESS (XS)

OUTFIT 7: WORKOUT TOP (SM) / LEGGINGS (SM)

Happy Monday friends!

It has been almost a month since I've posted on my blog! Phew I have missed it for sure!

I woke up early this morning and got my workout in, I've been going to the gym and trying out a new workout program. I need to update you guys on that too!

But back to today's post!

We woke up quite early on Saturday and headed into College Station, the boys went to a baseball game while this mama got some shopping done! I headed into Old Navy and y'all! They had so many items on sale! And majority of them still are.

Okay starting with these jeans, which are unfortunately sold out but I'm linking 2 similar pairs (available here & here) , this is hands down the most flattering boyfriends jeans I have EVER tried on! They're not saggy at all, I would say the only down side to them is that they're mid rise, which I'm not a big fan off. But they are still amazing!

Old Navy tees have always been a favorite of mine! I paired the jeans with this tee (available here) comes in tons of colors too!

I saw this blazer (available here) and snagged it up! A black blazer is such a staple and can be dressed up or down! This one is so so flattering! I'm wearing a small but I could've done an XS.

Moving on to this leopard shirt (available here), so comfy! I'm wearing a small but should've done a medium for a more flowy fit. This would be perfect with some white jeans & wedges, or some distressed shorts! Or even a denim skirt!

This blue top (available here) is so dang soft! Also comes in a bunch of other colors and under $15!

If you know me, you know this dress was calling my name! Hello leopard! (available here) I always go down a size in these dresses because I'm so short lol

I was hesitant on trying this dress on (available here) because again I'm pretty short and this is midi dress but wow! I actually fell in love with it! Would pair so good with some nude espadrilles!

This workout top was cute (available here) and soft! Not much to say about it lol BUT these leggings (available here) HOLY GUACAMOLE! I don't usually say this word or phrase but they are BOMB! Snug you in all the right places and phew girl, snag them up! You won't regret it! Petite friendly of course!

This was a pretty lengthy post but I hope you enjoyed!

Thank you so much for stopping by & for continuing to support my blog!

DATE NIGHT OUTFIT

Monday, January 20, 2020

"Thank you to MVMT WATCHES for sponsoring this post"

Happy Monday friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful day!

It has been quite a productive day for me today! I got most of the laundry done, our bedroom semi done, and all blogging things are caught up!

If you don't follow me on Instagram be sure you do (coffeewithrosa), I asked you guys a few questions on my stories and would love to hear your feedback! Starting a youtube channel has been on my mind lately! If you're an OG you know that I was on Youtube about 10ish years ago but I quit a couple of years into because I was afraid of what people would think. This time around I am more mature and with that comes a IDGAF attitude, you know lol So most likely I'd stick to it. But let me know your thoughts. Do you still watch Youtube videos? If so, what types of videos do you watch? What kinda off content would you like to see from me?

Alright moving on...

Today's post is all about this date night outfit! Now listen girl, I am making it a goal to have a date night with hubby at least once a month. Last year we went on one date, and that's because a sweet friend of mine, Karina, offered to watch Julian! So I think it's time I make it a priority to have some one on one time with my man.

For this date night outfit I wanted to wear something comfy but still a bit "dressy", I paired this black bodysuit from Burkes Outlet $7, with my current favorite jeans! These are the "curvy" jeans from American Eagle $50, and y'all they are so flattering! I got my normal size (0) but because these are super high raise and sit right at my waist, I should've sized down to a 00 but other than that, they hug your curves and fit so nicely! I threw this button up over it because it was a little chilly but you could definitely add a leather jacket instead, I think that would look so good!

For accessories I'm just wearing this gorgeous and dainty watch from MVMT! They were so kind to gift this watch & sunglasses to me. This watch is the "Lexington" watch and I love how simple it is! It's rose gold and you can adjust it to your wrist. These sunglasses are the "Aero", I love the tortoise detail that it has on the sides! And they fit me perfectly! I always struggle with sunglasses being a bit too big but these fit like a glove! And of course I have a discount for you guys, you can use "COFFEEWITHROSA15" for 15% off the site! Perfect time to snag a Valentine's Day gift for your lover or heck for yourself!

They offer free shipping on all orders and they also offer a buy now pay later service!

My booties are sold out but they have been on repeat! And I totally realized that majority of my shoes are leopard print,  may have a problem, NOT! haha

Thank you guys so much for stopping by & for continuing to support my blog! It truly means the world to me!
