FITNESS UPDATE + ALIVE BY WHITNEY SIMMONS REVIEW

Monday, February 24, 2020

Happy Monday friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful day!

So we are just going to go ahead and jump right into this post!

It has been a hot minute since I've updated you guys on where I am in my fitness journey.

So as of now, I am seeing HUGE progress in my body! I've been using the Alive app by Whitney Simmons, and I absolutely LOVE IT! Easiest and most efficient app I've tried!

Right now I'm currently doing the Alive 1.0 8 week program and within a week I started to notice definition in my arms. Which has been one of the hardest parts to tone up besides my stomach area.

The app has 30 workouts targeting different parts of the body! And currently 2 programs. One of the best features of this app is that it has a timer! Trust me y'all! Timers are so so important in a workout app and girlfriend nailed it!

Besides the timer, another great feature is that you can preview the workout so you can be prepared and she shows you exactly how to do it!

If you don't watch Whitney on youtube, head to her channel and binge watch her videos. She is one of the main reasons I've been able to stay motivated!

Totally forgot to mention, the app is $15 a month and worth every penny!

I have not weighed myself, and if you've been following me for a while you know I don't really pay attention to the scale. In the last couple of weeks I FINALLY starting to see some definition in my stomach area! If you're a mom you know how hard it is to tone it back up!

As for my eating, phew! It is one of the hardest part of this journey! BUT I have been doing so so much better! I think I'm finally in a good place when it comes to my relationship with food. I use to be scared to eat too much because I didn't want to feel full and overall just had an unhealthy relationship. But we're in a better place now!

I plan on doing a what I eat in a day over on my IG TV so if you don't follow me on Instagram (coffeewithrosa) be sure to head over there.

Also forgot to mention lol I do a full body workout every day! For a warm up I do either a 5 min 12% incline walk or just do a 20 min run depends on how I am with time.

I'm also going to the gym. I have been working out at home for the past two years and I just needed to change it up a bit. I can't express to you how much it has helped me! I love going to the gym and just taking that time to focus on myself.
